Reporting a fee-data problem

This is the most useful report we can get. If a state's maximum looks wrong or out of date, send:

• the state and the act type,
• what the app shows,
• a link to the official source that says otherwise: a Secretary of State page, a statute, an administrative code section or an official notary handbook.

Corrections are only accepted from official state government sources. Blogs, notary associations, forums and legal-summary sites are not used.

Common questions

Why does my state say "Not yet verified"?

Because the current rule could not be confirmed from an official state source, or because official sources conflicted. Rather than guess a number, the app leaves it blank. Manual pricing works normally, and the total is unaffected.

Why does the app not tell me whether a fee is legal?

Because it cannot know. It reports only what the verified data supports: within the verified statutory limit, above it, no statutory maximum found, or not verified. What is permitted for your commission is a question for your commissioning authority.

Why is my travel fee not covered by the state maximum?

State maximums generally govern the notarial act itself. Travel, printing, scanbacks and other service fees are separate charges, which is why the app shows them separately. Charging something separately does not by itself make it permitted; several states have disclosure or agreement requirements, which the app shows when the official source states them.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops the renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
