Self Storage Calculator does not collect, transmit, sell or share your data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
What the app stores
The deals you underwrite: facility names and addresses, unit mixes, rents, income and expense figures, acquisition costs, financing terms, stabilization, expansion and exit assumptions, notes, and your investment targets. This is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database. It is included in your own device backups under your Apple Account; Self Storage Calculator has no access to those backups.
What the app does not do
- No account or sign-in. No name, email address or phone number is requested.
- No servers of our own. The app makes no network requests of its own and works fully offline.
- No analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking software, and no third-party SDKs.
- No location, contacts, camera, microphone, photo library or notification permissions are requested.
- No data is shared with brokers, lenders, sellers or anyone else.
PDF reports
When you export an investment memorandum, the PDF is created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. It goes only to the app, service or person you choose, and what happens to it after that is governed by that recipient.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Self Storage Calculator receives only the subscription status needed to unlock Pro and never sees your name, Apple Account or payment details. Apple's handling of purchase information is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Delete any deal from the library by pressing and holding it and choosing Delete. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your iPhone. Your saved deals are never deleted because a subscription ends.
Children
Self Storage Calculator is a professional tool for real-estate investors and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date and shipped with an app update.
