Privacy Policy
This policy describes what the Water System Logbook app for iPhone does with your data. The same policy is available in the app under Settings › Privacy Policy. In short: no account, no server, no tracking, and your records stay on your iPhone.
Your records stay on this iPhone
Sites, operators, rounds, readings and notes are stored only on this device. Water System Logbook has no account, no server and no cloud sync, and the developer never receives your records. Deleting the app deletes its records from this iPhone; backup files you saved elsewhere stay where you put them.
No tracking or analytics
The app doesn't collect analytics, advertising identifiers, location or usage data, and contains no third-party tracking code.
Files you choose to share
Reports and backup files are created only when you ask for them, and go only where you send them, for example to Files, Mail or AirDrop.
Subscriptions
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. The app checks your subscription status with Apple; it never sees your payment details.
Reminders
Round reminders are scheduled on this iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. It is hosted by GitHub Pages; GitHub may keep standard server logs, such as visitors' IP addresses, for security, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement.
If you email support, your message and email address are used only to answer you, and aren't shared or used for marketing.
Children
The app is a record-keeping tool for water system operators and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here and in the app, with a new effective date.
Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to the developer, Gabriel Petersen, at gpmediacontact@gmail.com, or through the App Store support link for Water System Logbook.
